What is Smart Ink technology?

It is a connected electronic labeling technology that transforms a label into a low-power digital interface.

Thanks to this technology, our smart electronic labels communicate and instantly send relevant information to your ERP via a simple, discreet, and easy-to-install antenna (gateway). This innovative solution enables real-time updates, simplifying product information management and ensuring optimal accuracy at all times. Smart Ink technology offers perfect readability while consuming very little energy. Updates to critical information, such as stock quantity or asset name, are 10 times faster than with traditional paper labels, giving you greater responsiveness and flexibility.

The display technology is based on an electronic ink display, with pixels available in four colors: Black, White, Red, and Yellow. The combination of this cutting-edge technology and its seamless integration into your existing systems allows you to benefit from simplified inventory management while reducing operational costs.

What is Bluetooth BLE technology?

A beacon is a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacon measuring a few square centimeters, capable of sending radio waves at regular intervals up to several dozen meters. As with RFID, these radio waves enable the transmission of information that will be picked up by other devices using Bluetooth connectivity. This technology is particularly useful for asset tracking, as it can provide geolocation accurate to within a few square meters within a predefined area (room, warehouse, campus, etc.).

A beacon consists of several components: a battery, a microcontroller, an antenna, a radio module, sensors, and finally, a UUID (Universal Unique Identifier). Since the frequency band used by Bluetooth technology is similar to that of Wi-Fi ( 2.4 GHz), the infrastructure required to obtain real-time geolocation of assets (products, stock, machines, etc.) is inexpensive and technically simple. The complementary nature of passive RFID and Bluetooth BLE opens up almost unlimited possibilities for traceability in all industries. Use cases

Real-time hospital inventory management

In a hospital with 40 stock items, Smart Ink technology enables instant updates with a single click from your ERP system. The information is immediately reflected on your smart label screens, ensuring real-time inventory management, optimal traceability, and maximum responsiveness, while consuming very little energy.

Multi-site inventory synchronization

At a production site with multiple locations, managing changes to inventory or supplier information can lead to errors and inconsistencies, particularly when printing paper labels and managing printer ink. With Smart Ink technology, you can update all your inventory instantly, without errors, with a single click, regardless of location.

Equipment location on an extended site

If you manage a one-hectare campus, our solution with Bluetooth BLE technology allows you to accurately locate your equipment and resources in real time. Receive instant alerts in the event of unexpected movements or discrepancies in your inventory, thereby reducing losses and optimizing the use of your resources.

Equipment location on an extended site

In a hospital with 10,000 valuable assets, our solution with Bluetooth BLE technology enables precise real-time tracking of each piece of equipment. You can monitor the location of each asset, receive alerts in the event of unauthorized movement, and thus ensure the security of medical equipment while optimizing its management and maintenance.
